Public Relations Plan

One way I would get the word out is working with someone in the local government about my ideas and using their platform to spread it. The reason I am choosing to do this that way is because it is an election year, and many people are paying attention to politics. I think that it is going to grab the attention of first-time voters (college students) and parents of college students. I would love to have the support from all parties, because no matter what party you resonate with everyone needs healthcare. I believe using politicians’ platforms will get the message out to the majority of people in the area that it will be affecting.

            Another way I would give my idea exposure is holding an event on campus and around the area informing people of my idea. I want people that are directly going to be affected by this to hear first hand from me and my team what will be happening and what is expected. At these events I would be passing out flyers, and getting peoples emails and contact information to continue to send out information and any updates when the come up. This will allow me to keep people in the loop and to make it more of a personal connection with the hear it directly from the creator.
