Social Media Plan

First Social Media Platform Utilized

My first objective will be to increase the volume by ten patients every month. To do this I will have a referral program, those who bring in new patients will get a free checkup. This means that we will be accepting an average of about 1.75 patients per week, if not more. This is an achievable goal because there are about seventeen thousand students who go to IU Indianapolis who will need healthcare services available to them. This goal will allow our business to grow and eventually inspire other campuses to do the same thing. We will strive to have ten new patients by the last day of each month, and then we will reset for the next month. To promote this idea, I will use Instagram to promote our business. I am choosing to use Instagram to promote this plan because there are many other IU Indianapolis groups that use this platform as well. I know that there are IU Indianapolis students on Instagram seeking out different IU organizations available to them. I intend to send direct messages to any students that comment or even like the post. I will also reach out to new followers about this promotion, if you register to be a patient and refer a friend you get one free checkup.

My second objective is to improve the quality of care on campus and the health of IU Indianapolis students. The quality of care and the overall health and access of IU Indianapolis students will continue to improve every year. This is achievable because right now there is great room for improvement, and the longer we run this clinical and learn, the easier we will be able to achieve this goal. This is relevant because everyone want to be healthy, and no one wants to have to continue to go to the doctor time and time again. We will begin this year time frame beginning the first day we open the clinic and when we come back around to that day the next year we reset and continue to improve quality. To spread the word I will use the social media platform Facebook. I will use Facebook because there are students that are on there, but more importantly there are parents on there. Parents care about their children’s health, so by focusing my marketing towards the parents it will ensure more patients. With more patients being seen, that ensures they are getting care they need and the overall quality of care on campus is improving
